'All My Life' Music Video for Soundtrack for Montage Sequence

We chose this song to go along with the montage sequence because it was an easy song to create images for. We used the lyrics of the song to create the images we needed to ensure a 1 minute montage sequence for our transition task. We did this because we wanted to show a connection between the lyrics of the song and the song itself and the images we created on screen making the montage sequence flow better and be understood.

16-year-old Ellie Walker is walking towards college for her first lesson. She is a well-dressed student who takes pride in her appearance.

INT. WYKE SIXTH FORM COLLEGE ENTRANCE AND STAIR WELL.

Ellie is walking towards the stairs and starts to ascend them.

INT. WYKE SIXTH FORM COLLEGE. FIRST FLOOR CORRIDOR.

Holly is walking down the corridor and starts to descend the stairs.

Ellie and Holly meet on the stairs and start to talk.

ELLIE

Hiya

HOLLY

Oh hello you!

ELLIE

Where you going?

HOLLY

Just off to Wilson

ELLIE

Aww I like your necklace!

ELLIE reaches out to have a closer look at HOLLY’s necklace.

HOLLY

Aww thanks, it’s from Topshop

ELLIE

It’s really nice

Anyway, I’ve got to get to my next lesson

Continuity Sequence – Chance Meeting

Synopsis

‘Chance Meeting’ stars Ellie and Holly as two best friends from college. Ellie, a well-known student at Wyke Sixth Form College, is walking towards her first lesson of the day. Ellie is seen passing many students whom she is friends with while interacting with them and also making her way through the college. She makes her way up the stairs towards to first floor where she spots Holly, a good friend walking towards her. As she socialises with Holly she compliments her peers’ jewellery, a fine necklace in which Holly explains is from Topshop. This exchange shows the audience the nature and type of person Ellie is.
